The Water Wells Project
Drilling and rehabilitating boreholes so families and schools in Mbumland have safe drinking water within walking distance.
Water wells, school sanitation, medical equipment and a health centre — the work WICUDA-USA delivers in Donga-Mantung Division, Cameroon.
Our Portfolio
Each project begins with a request from a village council, is budgeted and supervised by our Development Committee, and ends with a handover to a trained local committee — because infrastructure without maintenance is a photograph, not a project.
Drilling and rehabilitating boreholes so families and schools in Mbumland have safe drinking water within walking distance.
Building latrines and hand-washing stations in schools, and running hygiene education for pupils and teachers.
A full 40-foot container of medical equipment and supplies shipped from the United States to Mbumland.
Equipping and extending a health centre that serves as the referral point for surrounding villages.
How We Work
A village council submits a need. Our people on the ground survey the site and confirm it.
The Development Committee costs the work and the general assembly approves the budget.
Local contractors and labour deliver the work under committee supervision.
A local committee is elected, trained and given a maintenance fund before handover.
